The Project
Alzheimer’s Foundation of America needed more than a standard course website. The organization needed a structured learning platform that could support paid and free training, guide learners clearly through each step, and ensure required evaluations and certificates were handled in a consistent way.
The project centered on building out a custom LMS experience within LearnDash, including tailored styling across courses, lessons, and quizzes; a custom evaluation format required for completion; and a certificate system tied directly to successful course completion. The platform also needed to connect cleanly with Authorize.net for payment processing and Constant Contact for communications and follow-up.

Our Process
- Starting with Learning Management System as the foundation, we customized the course, lesson, and quiz experience to create a more cohesive and intuitive learning environment, with styling and structure tailored to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s program needs.
- To ensure a seamless experience, the LMS was designed to match the primary website’s visual system, including colors, typography, and footer structure. This continuity reduces friction for returning visitors and reinforces trust as users move between the main site and the learning platform.
- Because evaluations are a required part of the learning process, we developed a custom quiz type specifically for evaluations, allowing the organization to require learner feedback and completion steps in a way the standard setup did not support.
- To complete the learner journey, we created a custom certificate system and connected the platform to key operational tools, including Authorize.net and Constant Contact, so registration, payment, completion, and communication could work together more effectively.

The Results
Visuals
The result is a learning platform that feels unified across the full learner experience, from browsing the course catalog to moving through lessons, quizzes, evaluations, and completion.
Instead of relying on default LMS layouts, the platform presents Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s training in a clearer and more polished way, helping learners focus on the content while giving the organization a system that is easier to manage and expand over time.

Achieving Alzheimer’s Foundation of America's Goals
A More Structured Learning Experience
The platform gives Alzheimer’s Foundation of America a clearer and more consistent way to deliver online education. Courses, lessons, quizzes, evaluations, and certificates now work together as part of a connected system, making the experience easier for learners to follow and easier for staff to manage.
Better Alignment Between Learning and Operations
By integrating the LMS with Authorize.net and Constant Contact, the platform supports both the learner experience and the organization’s operational needs. Payments, communications, and course participation are more closely aligned, reducing manual work and making the system more useful as part of a broader program workflow.
Ongoing Support as the Platform Evolves
The work did not stop at launch. Ongoing maintenance and support continue to help the platform adapt to new needs, including feature enhancements, reporting support, and other functional improvements. That gives the organization a stable foundation while allowing the LMS to keep growing along with its programs.
